Gesture and poise both conjoin to create images that express mood and meaning in an ambience that defines divinity and deities. Be it Vishnu , or Rudra Shiva ,or  Kali or Ganesha or Lakshmi the language of faith is one that bestows a certain expression and spiritual devotion. When our eyes runs over these works we should be initiated into a mudra of meditation ( dhyana).Spiritual fervour is an indication of teaching ((vyakhyana). In a world caught in the throes of war and terrorism and epidemics we need these forms of faith to reaffirm the power of the human spirit that must rise above all and venerate our beginnings for in the end ‘ truth is beauty and beauty truth.’
