Published At New Delhi As if Cue designers Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna didn't have enough on their plate with clothes. The pair have taken to selling art. Though that's no secret, what did come as a surprise was the kind of support even competitors lent them during the opening of Palette art gallery at Golf Links, New Delhi . Kalyani Chawla, who has just opened an art gallery her self at Mehrauli, was there in pearl (and diamond) glory. “Competiton's healthy!” she retorted. “But really. Rahul's an old friend. Besides, most Delhi art galleries have a supportive relationship. If Rahul gets a buyer for a piece I have in stock, I'd be most willing to sell it to him. And vice versa. We need each other,” she insisted. Which would make Rahul and Rohit, Kalyani and Meera-Muzaffar Ali three from the fashion fraternity to deal with art too. Though passive support from fashion wasn't lacking on the evening in question. Ruheen Jaiswal's obviously trying to get a fab figure and Fardeen's attention. She turned up looking quite a stunner in a white pant-suit. Artists Satish Gujral and Hemi Bawa gave Palette art gallery their stamp of approval by turning up. As did many more who will surely do Rahul and Rohit's new business(palette art gallery) venture a lot of good.
