Exhibition - Bombay Boys

Palette art gallery, New Delhi is having a show titled ‘THE BOMBAY BOYS' at its gallery space in golf links overlooking the beautiful Delhi Golf course.

Beginning on the 17th of December 7 pm onwards , the participants include 12 young promising male artists from Mumbai who have already made a mark in the Indian contemporary art scene. In alphabetical order, they include Anant Joshi, Baiju Parthan, Bose Krishnamachari, Chintan Upadhyay, Justin Ponmany, Jyothi Basu, Riyas Komu, Sanjeev Sonpimpare, Sudarshan Shetty, Sunil Gawde, Sunil Padwal, T.V. Santosh.

The show gets its name from the place where the artists come from – BOMBAY .

We would be flying down the artists to Delhi for 2 days to interact with art critics, collectors and the rest of the Delhi art fraternity.

The artists have been clearly chosen by Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna based on their contribution towards Indian contemporary art at a young age. The show shall be on from the 17 th of Dec. till the 8 th of Jan 2005 at golf links; Palette Art Gallery , New Delhi .

Each one of the art work has been done exclusively for the show. The artists are working on different mediums like paper, canvases, digital art, sculptures and interactive installations.

Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna who bring to art their creativity as two of the most respected Indian designers and acknowledged collectors of art. This distinguished team has great faith in the present and future of Indian contemporary art and is here to give the art scene their support.
