Born 1962 in New Delhi She did her Master in Fine arts from College of art New Delhi. The artist then went to Japan for scholarship in 1991 – 93.Her solo shows include: in 2002 Talwar Gallery, New York, NY, 2000 Galerie Foundation For Indian Artists, 1996 Amsterdam, Holland, 1992 -Gallery 17, Kanazawa, Japan.Her solo shows include: 2001- Bollywood Has Arrived, organised by Foundation for Indian Artist's and Jim Beard Foundation, Schipol, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 2001- Gallery East, Perth Australia, 2000 - Mis-Understanding, Utrecht, Holland, 1999 -'Bilkool', Perth Institute of Contemporary Art, Perth, Australia and many more. She has been a part of many residencies and has won awards.
